Clamps have built-in clips to securely mount Tripp Lite PS- and SS-series bench-mount power strips without the need for drilling holes.
C-Clamps Securely Mount Power Strips without Drilling
Now it’s possible to mount Tripp Lite PS- and SS-series bench-mount power strips without drilling into walls or workbenches. Sold in a pack of two, the PSSS2C C-clamps attach to the edge of a desk, table, workbench or other solid, flat surface up to 2.25 inches thick. Slide the clamps onto the edge of your surface, hand tighten the adjustment knobs to secure and then snap your power strip into the built-in mounting clips. For optimal support, use at least two clamps for power strips 36 inches and shorter. For power strips longer than 36 inches, use an additional clamp every 12 to 18 inches.
Add Flexibility to Power Strip Installations
The PSSS2C clamps are perfect for installations where drilling mounting holes is not possible or desirable. There are no mounting fasteners, so you can reposition the power strip installation quickly. The built-in mounting clips allow you to replace a power strip without removing the clamps from the mounting surface. Made of heavy-duty steel, the clamps withstand the rigors of daily use.
Retrofit Existing Installations to Improve Access to Outlets
You can change the mounting of a Tripp Lite power strip you already own to improve access to the outlets or to avoid drilling new holes when relocating the strip. The built-in mounting clips are designed for use with Tripp Lite PS- and SS-series bench-mount power strips. (Compatibility with other power strips depends on the strip’s dimensions; the mounting clips are not adjustable.)
